It’s About Control Everytime

Here you have another subtlety: For every one of us, the “craving to have something more” could be more accurately thought as the “urge to obtain better control of our environment and of our lives.” (And I’d add this too: The more control one wields over his/her existence, the happier one will be.)

What we do in our lives is nearly always about seeking out for added personal control in a system. Think about the next random considerations:

  • Via some protestant-ethic psychological gyration, way too many of us misuse our time opposing the fact that having lots of money is a great thing. It’s simple: Additional money means superior control over the mechanical areas of a lifestyle. Look for an ethical method to obtain additional money and you can not only have significantly more power over your time and surroundings, you will have sufficient left over to provide some of it to those that need assistance. It’s basic logic. Don’t confuse the problem.
  • I don’t do blogging to create a living so I don't have to run every term through some type of a marketing-savvy/politically-correct content material rinser. Thus giving me powerful control over what I state. It’s gives me freedom. If I was writing to be able to sell you something, my words would have to be more construed.
  • In the West, the parent/kid system of communicating is usually bit more than a back-and-forth fight for control. The flattered, spoiled kid has been given adult-like power – therefore parent-to-child instructions are changed into child-to-parent negotiations. Control has relocated from the mother or father to the kid. Bad for the mother or father and bad for future adult.
  • Addictions substances is a black-hole system of devastation, and the best example of lack of control. Not really managing an addiction destroys everything. (A interesting as it is, out-of-control obsession is the final outcome of misled attempts to control a bad mindset.)
  • Twitter. Really: Just how much actual control does one have in creating endless tweets? Encounter it. In case you have 15,000 fans/followers and you adhere to 15,000 others, there’s a lot of talking happening while nobody is listening. Using valuable time to gush to individuals who don’t actually even hear you is delusional thinking and ultimate non-control.
  • Nature: In unfettered-by-humans organic systems right now there are control-lessons everywhere. The cougar goes after the deer. The deer’s work of control is seen in the fierce sprint from the cougar. The cougar seeks its accumulative amount of extra control by getting another full stomach. The deer’s action of control is to get away. Neglect anthropomorphizing ideas. In purified character, it’s about control.
  • Business and politics: Zero explanation needed. Obviously these categories are about control, and providing examples will be condescending for you the reader.
  • War: Similar to above, but definitely the most serious demonstration of the deep-rooted desire for control.
  • Add your own good examples. From the “control context” angle, just give a look around.

Most of the times, searching for more personal control is an excellent thing. Don’t hem and haw about any of it, or pretend the seek for control isn't a main life-motivator. From Barack Obama’s agenda to Mother Theresa’s life endeavor; from the action of buying a fresh television to calling for a cab in the street, the idea is to put oneself out there to get a much better grip on different things. Once this inborn travel is comprehended from a non-judgmental perspective, getting a grip on the mechanics of life becomes basic and logical.

Here’s how I proceed the system to get better control of my surroundings and myself: First, I determine exactly what goals I want to accomplish. Second, I research and dissect the linear systems that I’ve geared toward those objectives. Third, as I now am able to accurately observe how each individual system performs, I cautiously take care of the parts of each of these systems to be able to create my ideal goals. It’s a mechanical strategy, and in this mechanical reality the strategy is extremely efficient.

This obvious effort to architect superior control is named “management.”
